Fukagawa has a rich history and is known for its traditional and historical charm.
Fukagawa is characterized by the following.
- Historical Significance: Fukagawa has deep historical ties to Japan's Edo period (1603-1868). It was known as a lively entertainment district and a popular place for people to enjoy the art and culture of the time.
