In a match on July 18, 2021, Japan defeated the powerful France 81-75. It is a great victory!

Rui Hachimura had 19 points and 7 rebounds, Yuta Watanabe had 18 points and 9 rebounds, and Makoto Hiejima had 15 points.

Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Japan will play against Spain, Slovenia, and Argentina in the group matches of Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The venue is Saitama Super Arena.

July 26, 2021: Japan 77-88 Spain

Japan lost to Spain 77-88.

After an unsportsmanlike foul by Japan's Edwards Gavin at the 26-26 tie in the second quarter, Spain quickly went up 2-20, and by the end of the first half they were up by 20 points, 28-48.

By the end of the third quarter, the score was 56-69, a 13-point difference, but the gap did not close in the fourth quarter, and the game ended in a frustrating 77-88 loss.

Rui Hachimura and Yuta Watanabe had 20 and 19 points, respectively.

Japan lost to Slovenia 81-116.

Rui Hachimura and Yuta Watanabe scored 34 and 17 points, respectively.

Japan lost to Argentina 77-97!
