In the quarterfinals, Japan defeated Australia 61-55.

It is the first time to advance to the semi-finals!

September 3, 2021: Japan 79-68 Great Britain

In the semi-finals, Japan defeated Great Britain 79-68.

It is the first time for Japan to advance to the finals and to win a silver medal or more!

Renshi Chokai scored 20 points and Hiroaki Kozai 17 points.

In the finals, the Japanese team narrowly lost to the Americans 60-64.
