Seaberry is a sour berry from Estonia.
The taste of seaberries is similar to that of Iyokan (Japanese Citrus Fruit).
Seaberries are a member of the berry family, which includes blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries.
The name "seaberry" comes from the fact that they are mainly grown along the seacoast.
Seaberries have different names depending on the region.
- Europe, Mongolia: Seaberry
- America: Sea Buckthorn
- China: Saji
- Japanese name (Western name): Sunajigumi (Hippophae rhamnoides)
