Megabus

Megabus is a long-distance bus service available in North Carolina.

There are bus stops for Megabus and GoTriangle (a local community bus service).

The only Megabus bus stops in North Carolina are in Charlotte, Durham, and Fayetteville.

Compared to Greyhound, Megabus is primarily a long-distance bus for travel out of North Carolina rather than within the state.

Long-Distance Trains

North Carolina's long-distance train service is Amtrak.

Here, the term "train" in the United States basically refers to long-distance trains.

Note that long-distance trains in the United States run only in some areas, not all over the country like in Japan.
